This book came so highly recommended that I was excited to read it. But I simply couldn’t finish it. I got a little over a fourth of the way into it. I kept expecting it to get better. It didn’t. I just kept getting worse. It was all about sex. I finally said, “Enough is enough.” As one of the characters in the book said frequently, “It is not my standards.” I am so relieved to be done with it.
