We had a lovely week in Vermont. Though the leaf color peak was probably just a day or two after we left Vermont, we saw some beautiful color as well as other beautiful scenery. Following are some pictures of the beauties.

| These apples were growing at the Von Trapp Family Lodge. Ken enquired about them, and the manager let us take a couple. They were absolutely delicious. Ken researched and found they were called empire apples. If you ever see them, give them a try. They are a deep red- almost purple. |
