Ketchikan, Alaska

After a day at sea, our first port was Ketchikan.  Isn't that a great name?  Ken walked around the town, birding.  I stayed near the port and shopped.  Ken was very excited as he saw a lot of birds, including two new life listers.

We weren't the only ship in port that day.

Ken got up in the middle of the night and went up on the ship to see the Northern lights.  He didn't see those, but he did get some pretty pictures of the moon reflecting on the water.
