President's Day Weekend

The Prince family came to visit over the long President's Day weekend.  It was so wonderful to have them here.

Gabbi had scheduled for them to do baptisms at the St. George temple early on Saturday.  Ken got to do the baptizing and Michelle and Brian observed.  I stayed home and tended the little boys.

I love this selfie of the whole crowd.  It makes my heart happy just looking at this picture of people that I love so much.

We worked on a 100 piece puzzle.  William really wanted to complete a 100-piece puzzle.  We did it, but found two pieces were missing.  Drat!  He doesn't look too sad.

That afternoon we went to the Red Cliffs temple open house.  It, I'm sure, was the busiest day of the open house.  The line wound completely around the temple.  Many people were in town (mostly from up north) for the long weekend (people love to come to St. George to play this time of year.)  There was a big soccer tournament in town as well as the Parade of Homes, which always draws a big crowd.  I think some came for the temple open house as well.

But it was so beautiful.  It was worth the wait.

On Sunday night, we celebrated Michelle's birthday.  Heavy, heavy hang over thy poor head.  We gave her our presents a bit early.

How I love this kid.

They went on a couple of hikes (the other cement arrow hike and the dinosaur tracks hike) when they were here.
Michelle sent this collage created of Ken and Gabbi hiking in February of 2015 and this year.

Michelle, Brian, and Jaron also went running two of the mornings. They are an active bunch and the weather was so nice.  It was so nice to have them in church with us on Sunday.
On Sunday evening, we joined family for Don and Ada's setting apart as missionaries, going to the Philippines.

It was such a wonderful weekend!
