Hinton Family Reunion, Monday, July 3

Monday was lake day.  It was such a fun day.  Camerons and Princes have kayaks, paddle boards, shade canopy, chairs, pumps, and everything you need for a fun day at the lake.  We made sandwiches, packed a picnic and headed out to Newton Reservoir.

Our two youngest grandchildren.

They are buddies.

Such a cute picture of Sam

Kristen's van holds a lot of kids!

Up a tree.

Blake and Brian usually spend all the time getting everything set up, blown up, prepared, so everyone else can have fun.  I was glad to see that each of them took a turn at the fun.

These four had so much fun playing near the shore.

Everyone wants Aunt Michelle to do their hair.

These two did a midwater exchange of paddles.  Good job !

Because of rain, thunder and lightning in the area, we had to call everyone in for awhile- off the water.  We all gathered under the canopy. We played such a fun game in a circle called "Bunny, bunny." Brielle and Michelle taught it to us.  I thought we had a picture of us playing it, but I can't find it.  It was such a fun time, all of us gathered together playing that game.  It was kind of like "Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar" but more complicated.  That truly was a highlight of our reunion.
Ken and I were in charge of dinner that evening, so we left the lake a bit earlier than the others. We picked up pizzas and served fruit, etc.
Nathan did the devotional that evening.  Another great day!
