Ken just finished a very long book about the history of the world. He just saw it in the library and decided to read it. I don't think I would ever choose such a daunting book. It took him awhile, but he finished it. He had to renew it several times. When they wouldn't renew it anymore, he checked out a book on the Islam religion and read that. He figured this one would still be there when he got done. No one else would want to check it out. He was right. After he finished the Islam one, sure enough, this one was still on the shelf. He checked it out and finished it. Way to go, Ken!
