I really enjoyed reading this debut novel by Lauren Graham. I really like her as an actress, and it turns out she is a fine author as well. It was a light, easy read about a young actress trying to make it New York. Franny is instantly likable and you find yourself rooting for her to succeed and for her to choose the right man. I think one of the marks of a good book is if you miss the character when you are done. I miss Franny.
