Christmas Dinner at Family Home Evening

What?  Another party????   The Tuesday before Christmas, sweet Imi and Sachiko prepared a delicious Christmas feast for us at Family Home Evening.  How we love these people!

Christmas cake is the traditional treat for Christmas.  Imi is a master at making them.

Christmas tree hors d 'oeuvres

Potato Salad

Ham roast.  In this picture, you can also see "the can."  We put our donation for the cost of the dinners each week into this can.  It is suggested that you donate $100 yen per person- about $1.00 per person (we usually put much more.)  It is amazing what they can do on that small budget.

And I made mint brownies

It was a delicious feast with people that we love.  It was also our choir practice for the upcoming Christmas program on Sunday.
