I Love to See the Temple

Sunday, July 4th

Nearly everyone was sick. After spending a week together, we sufficiently shared germs to make nearly everyone in the family sick. The Mackrorys decided to pack up and leave to move on to Shonna's house, so they could get home on Monday.

After they left, we attended church at Michelle and Brian's ward. Gabbi is so cute. Throughout the entire three hour block of meetings, she keeps up a constant chatter. She has so much to say. She loves the hymns. She lifts her arms and waves them and sings and sings.

After a delicious dinner prepared by Michelle and Brian (Coconut Curry Soup, homemade rolls, salad, watermelon, carrot cake) we drove to the temple. We had only seen the temple from atop the Washington monument several years ago, so it was fun to go there and go through the visitors center, then walk around the grounds.
