I was drawn to this book by the title, which, I found, has a double meaning. The story was intriguing, the writing, fantastic, and the plot, memorable. I grew to love Skip as he struggled through raising a baby and trying to change his life and become who he dreamed of being. I can see why this author won the Pulitzer prize. I want to read more of her books.
