Park City, Utah

On Saturday, August 7, we moved to our new location- Park City, Utah.  On the way, we did an Initiatory session in the Ogden, Utah temple.

We drove to Park City and got settled in our beautiful condo.  It was spacious and as nice as our last one was not nice.  We then went to Walmart and got groceries for the week.
On Sunday, we listened to our home ward sacrament meeting on youtube.  Ken also went to the local ward.  In the afternoon, we drove down to South Jordan to be with the Prince family for the afternoon and attend William's 4th birthday celebration.  The extended Prince family members who live in the area meet every Sunday evening for dinner.  On birthdays, they have a birthday celebration for that family member.

Park City is beautiful.  Ken took some nice pictures on his hikes.

A beautiful view

There was a lot of smoke in the area from California wild fires.

Each day, we enjoyed going to the pool at the resort and jogging in the pool and then relaxing in the hot tub.

On Wednesday afternoon, we drove down to do an endowment session and a sealing session in the Jordan River Temple.

After the temple, we went to the Princes.  They made a delicious meal for us:  Burrito Bowls and Corn Bread.

Michelle and the kids had been swimming before we arrived.  William fell asleep on the way home.  Here he is waking up from a late nap.
He wanted Grandpa to read him his new story book.

It was a good step day for me.

We found this little fruit stand when we went to Park City last year, and revisited it this year.  We bought berries, peaches, and jams.

We went out to dinner at Squatters.  I got fish tacos- yum!

Ken got a chicken salad

On Friday, we went back down to SLC to do another endowment session and a sealing session in the Oquirrh Mountain temple.  I had such a sweet, revelatory experience while in the temple.

Michelle and Brian invited us to come for Friday pizza night at their house after the temple.

Michelle always makes pizza night more healthy: salad, vegetable tray, pears, and spinach smoothies.

After dinner, Gabbi had us play a fun acting game she learned at young women.

Michelle and Gabbi had been working on decorating Gabbi's room.  They printed up these beautiful mantra signs and made a beautiful arrangement.  You will be seeing them again in my mantra section on this blog.

Our beautiful condo:

We left on Saturday morning to travel to our last destination:  Vail, Colorado.
