Family Reunion- Wednesday, July 7, 2021

Wednesday was lake day.  After breakfast, we loaded the cars and headed to Pine View Reservoir.  Between the Prince family and the Camerons, we had all the equipment needed for a fun day at the lake (Mackrorys also have kayaks, but couldn't bring them from Colorado.)  When we got there, we were surprised how very low the water level was in the reservoir.  It is scary how bad this drought is. It was quite a hike down in deep sand to get lakeside.  I wasn't sure I could do it, but with a lot of help from Ken, Brian and my daughters, I got down and later, back up.

There were many, many pictures taken on this day.  I hope I have chosen some of the best and included everyone.  Blake took most of them (that's why he is not in many of them.)

Kenny (Michelle's), Hannah, Gabe (Shonna's), and William (M's)  If you look behind the kids, this picture kind of shows how far down we had to go to get lakeside.  The lake is usually up where the green is.

Jacob (K's) on the paddle board.

I think it's Kenny.

Brian.  Brian and Blake do most of the work hauling all of the stuff and setting up the camp.  Then they hang back and watch (and photograph) everyone having fun.  It is truly selfless service.

Three beauties

What a great shot!

Love her little bubble bum

Gabbi and Jacob.  I am so proud of all who mastered the paddleboard.

I thought this was so funny.  They came in to get their sandwiches, then headed right back out into the lake to eat them.

Nathan checking for fish.  Nathan loves to fish.  He took his fishing pole out, but wasn't able to catch any.

Jaron.  In the background, you can see the kids playing in the water.  It was so fun that it was shallow a long way out, so the little ones could just go out and play and play.

Jaron and Caleb- best buds

Uninvited guest- that's probably what he thinks about us.

Great shot, Blake!

Here is a good shot of three of the little ones playing in the water.  They came in so dirty!

They had so much fun!

One of my favorite shots of the reunion.  Unfortunately, that night Lissy got really sick.  The reason she was so lethargic was she was dehydrated.  They had a rough night, but she was fine the next morning.

A lot of my favorite swimmers.

I love this picture.  Kristen was exhausted after a long day.  She was reading to her kids and fell sound asleep in the hall.

Uncle Brian reading bedtime stories to the kids that evening.

One of my favorite shots of the reunion.  They are all listening to Uncle Brian's story.  Look at those precious faces!

My favorite was "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!"
The kids were all screaming, "Yes!" to let the pigeon drive and the adults were all screaming, "NO!"

What a great, perfect day with the people we love the most!
