You may have heard about our recent flooding. Our desert isn't used to a week straight of rain and it filled the river and washes, and one of the dams even threatened to give way. Some people down river lost their homes to the flood waters. It was raging. Here are some pictures and a video:
This is usually just a small little stream.

So glad you weren't washed away!! All that rain was amazing-- it was like the ground didn't know what to do with so much water! I hope Lake Mead filled back up so we don't have to steal your water...
