Gray Mountain by John Grisham

My husband and I like to listen to audio books on road trips. John Grisham’s books are favorites because they are usually exciting and engaging. We listened to this one on a recent trip and did enjoy it. But we both felt like the ending was unsatisfying. It almost needs a sequel to give the reader the results of pending lawsuits. And the main character was not very likable. She didn’t seem to know who she was or what she wanted out of life. It definitely was not Grisham’s best, but it was okay. It did teach us a lot about coal mining and the devastation it causes.
