We got home on Friday evening, May 26th. The next day, May 27th, our niece Melanie was married in the St. George temple. We felt so blessed to be there for the special occasion. Melanie has waited a very long time to find her eternal mate. We just couldn't be happier for her- for them.

It was fun to mingle and visit with family |
Ada (Melanie's mom) and her sisters |
Ken and Clark Tenney |
Shonna and Sonya |
We survived the obligatory torture photo on the steps. It was so hot. |
Brian and Blake stayed home with the kids so Michelle and Shonna could enjoy the wedding |
All of the Hinton siblings together |
The infamous hand-rub |
All eight siblings and spouses. |
The dinner and reception were held across the street from the temple at the temple president's residence.
Dustin (Melanie's brother) speaks fluent Chineses. Caleb is in a Chinese immersion program at school. It was fun to listen to them converse. I was so proud of Caleb! |
The dinner was delicious and the backyard large and shady. |
Our (Michelle and Brian's) Gabriella and Adam's Ashtyn were born on the same day- July 1st. They are 1st cousins once removed, I think. |
This is a picture of Gabbi and Ashtyn at Melanie's sister Tiffani's reception almost exactly eight years before. |
The kids had a great time playing together. |
We saw so many people that we hadn't seen for 1 1/2 years. Though not it's purpose, it was a great welcome home for us. We are so very grateful we got to be part of this special day for Melanie and Kevin.
