Our Homecoming

We got home on Friday night about six after traveling for over 24 hours.  We were greeted at the airport by many family members: Dave and Gerri, Don and Ada, Mark and Lorene and Spencer, and Brian, Michelle, Gabbi, Jaron, and Kenny.  It was such a sweet reunion.

After gathering our luggage, and I thought we had taken a picture- but I can't find it- we went out to the stake center to get released.  We then came home and discovered many signs of welcome for us.

Michelle and Brian had come earlier that day and started the cooler, vacuumed the cockroaches, cleaned, got the cars ready to drive, and bought a boatload of groceries, filling our pantry and fridge.  They then went to Café Rio and got us salads we had been craving.

Later, Shonna and Blake and their family arrived.  We met Gabe for the first time.

I admit we were kind of in a fog, but it was so fun to be with grandchildren for the next few days and get reacquainted.
