Caleb Blake Cameron, son of Shonna and Blake Cameron was born yesterday at 1:24pm. His arrival was VERY early(about ten weeks early - he was due March 16th). He weighed 3 lbs. 12 ozs. and was 17.3 inches. We are thrilled to have him join the family, and pray and pray and pray he'll grow and develop perfectly. Isn't he beautiful? He is in Neonatal Intesive Care, and will be for awhile, so prayers in his and his parents' behalf are much appreciated. As we analyze the events leading to his birth, we see the hand of the Lord blessing and guiding the whole way. We are humbly grateful. We are so proud of Shonna. Coming so early, plans weren't in place for getting her to the hospital, etc, and he came fast! Though scared, she did everything perfectly and made it so Caleb could enter the world in a safe environment. We are grateful for Liz, a kind friend who rushed her to the hospital, and while driving, taught her to 'breathe' instead of push- that little guy could have been born in a car on the freeway! We are grateful for good doctors and nurses who are now caring for little Caleb and his mommy. He is stable and doing well. He IS a handsome little fellow!! What a lucky little man to get to come to such a wonderful family. They are all in our thoughts and prayers and have been since we heard the news... One of my good friends here had her baby boy at 29 weeks and he his a miracle-baby (he just turned a year). They even call him "Wonderboy" b/c he's totally healthy-- doctors can do such amazing things for these little babies. Hang in there my beautiful BD!!!
He is so cute. It is so good to see a picture of that little guy. He was just so excited to come to that sweet family that he couldn't wait any longer. We are all praying for the Cameron's. Send them our love!

Oh my goodness! He is so cute, and a surprise! My prayers are with your family and Shonna and Blake. They CAN do amazing things for little babies these days. My friend had her baby at 25 weeks and he was one pound. He is three now and is perfect. He only wears glasses, and he's so handsome. We will pray and know that he will grow healthy and strong!!

That baby is beautiful....wow, how proud we all are of Shonna and her grace under the ultimate pressure! We love you all. Please tell Blake, Shonna and little Caleb how much their Aunt Cindy and Uncle John love, love, love them. The doctors and nurses in NICU are AMAZING...they are very aware of the great work they are doing--that it is a calling; and they are skilled. Caleb is in great hands: the Lord's and the staff of a NICU! Think FAT, Little Caleb!! Cindy

What a cute little guy. We have been praying for Caleb, Shonna, and Blake since we heard the news. We know how scary early surprises and NICUs can be. The Lord is amazing though and so are the NICUs. We will continue to keep that cute little family in our prayers. Go Caleb!
