We went to South Jordan June 20th-24th to stay with the Prince boys while their parents and Gabbi went on their stake trek. Michelle and Brian were a Ma and Pa to a "family" of youth.
We often find surprises on the guest bed when we get there. |
Michelle made delicious Cafe Rio burritos for dinner that night. |
Gabbi was the tortilla cook. |
Gabbi loves to take my phone and change stuff. I found this selfie of her had become my screen saver. She is so cute. |
Michelle makes a chart like this every night to help her family function. |
Ma and Pa are ready to trek! |
And so is Gabbi. |
One of Kenny's chores was to weed the garden. Grandpa helped him. |
On Thursday night, we took the kids to Noodles and Co. for dinner. They loved it. |
Afterward, we went to Nielsen's Frozen Custard for cones, |
Then to play at the park. |
The first thing out of William's mouth when his mom got home was, "We got to go to three parks!" That's the life when you're five. |
A selfie taken at the piano concert. |
All three boys played the piano for us. We had such a nice concert. |
William took me downstairs to put on a show for me. It was quite entertaining. I'm sure it all made sense in his mind. |
Kenny got into the act, too. |
Grandpa finishing up the weeding. |
On the first day, Grandpa took the kids to the Bingham Canyon Mine. |
It was so nice to be with these fine boys and enjoy a few days with them. The trekkers came back tired, but with great stories to tell. They had a marvelous experience.
