Yours Cheerfully by A.J. PearceThis is the second book in the Emmy Lake series. I think I liked it even better than the first. It is set in WWII England. We already love the characters from Dear Mrs. Bird, but especially Emmy evolves from an impetuous girl who makes a lot of unwise decisions to a mature young woman who truly makes a difference for women/ mothers during the war. It is so well read in the audio version. A third book in the series is to come out soon. I’m hoping for a happily ever/ post-war plot.
