Mackrorys Come to Visit

As soon as her kids were through school for the year, Kristen headed out on adventures.  She took her three oldest on college campus visits to USU and BYU-I while Jared took the three youngest on a camping trip.  They met up in Provo on Sunday night and stayed in a motel.  Jared took the two oldest to BYU campus to go to EFY on his way home to Colorado on Monday morning.  Kristen brought the four youngest here for a short visit: Monday - Wednesday.

Grandma Kay with Lisi, Samuel, Audrey, and Jake
This is a picture Kristen shared of her with Brielle, Jake, and Nathan at the Idaho Falls temple.  They all did baptisms there.  It was fun for Kristen to show Brielle and Nathan where they lived as tiny children in Idaho Falls and for them to visit the ward they attended  there on Sunday.

Dr. Lisi declared my blood pressure to be just fine.
She gave me a thorough physical with a Fisher-Price doctor kit that we have had for decades.  Every part of that kit is still there and functioning.  That has been a great toy.

On Tuesday, Kristen took me to lunch at Sakura to celebrate Mother's Day.  It was the highlight of the visit.  It was wonderful to visit while we enjoyed foods that we both enjoyed on our missions.

We enjoyed pizza one evening.

Kristen's family enjoyed a trip to the Florida beach last Christmas.  She made each of us (Shonna, Michelle, and I) a beautiful nativity scene out of sea shells.  She is so creative.

Dancing Lisi

Kristen took the kids on a hike to the Sandstone temple quarry.  They had fun.  The boys enjoyed catching lizards.
The Mackrory van packed and ready to go.

Precious Kids.

They then traveled to Shonna's house to spend a few days,

Then to Michelle's house for a few days.

Brothers reuniting

Nathan is Jake's rock.

I love this pile of grandkids.

The Mackrorys and Princes had tickets to the Saratoga Springs temple open house.  They loaded up Kristen's van and went together.

I absolutely love this sweet picture.  Our oldest grandchild with our two youngest.

I think this picture must be of Gabbi's dance recital that night.

Cafe Rio burritos and watermelon

Gabbi and Michelle headed to girls camp early Monday morning and the Mackrorys went to Provo.  But these four weren't ready to part.  They all got up at 6am and biked to the park to play for an hour before Gabbi and Michelle had to leave.
Kristen and kids left for Provo, dropped Brielle off at her class, then hiked the Y.

Now Kristen and kids are in an airbnb for a few days while Brielle attends an ACT prep course  at BYU and they will do a BYU-Provo campus visit, too.

I am so grateful to all who sent us pictures of the fun.  We sure do love our family!
