Rosemary McFadden Passes Away

Rosemary and Dave moved into our ward about 30 years ago.  They still had three children at home.  Their two youngest were the ages of our two youngest.  Rosemary has always been someone I looked up to and admired.  Years ago she was the PTA president of our middle school and I served on her board.  I so admired her leadership skills.  She served as stake Relief Society president and twice as Young Women president.  Dave and Rosemary catered many event and always opened their home for ward and Relief Society parties.  They were always serving others.  Their example of selfless service will live on.

I was shocked when I heard she had pancreatic cancer.  It took her very quickly.  We were able to attend her funeral while vacationing in Vermont via Zoom.  We will miss beautiful Rosemary.

Obituary

Rosemary Cook McFadden, age 74 died on September 26, 2022 in her home in St. George, UT from pancreatic cancer surrounded by her loved ones.  Rosemary is survived by her husband, Dave McFadden, her six children and 24 grandchildren.  Rosemary loved learning how to drive tractors, raise orphan lambs, catch and gut fish, shear sheep, camp, hike and ride horses.  She also loved learning how to sew, cook, garden, crossstitch, and arrange flowers.
