A young mother flees her severly abusive husband with her two children and not much else. She becomes acquainted with strangers who help her. It is a powerful movie. It portrays so well the cycle that one in her situation goes through. First she is happy and hopeful. That hope gives way to despair and hopelessness. The kindness of strangers gradually restores her hope. We watched it on Netflix.
