Ken's 50th High School Class Reunion

 Friday, September 2nd found us at Ken's 50th Hurricane High School class reunion.  Can you believe 50 years?  "Who are all of these old people?"  we were all joking.  Actually, they are lovely people and we had a great time.  One of the classmates, Debbie Olds, was our hostess for the event at their lovely home in Toquerville, Utah.  As you can see, it was very well attended.  There are 34 in this picture.  A couple of them left early before the picture was taken.  68 were in the graduating class, so that's a pretty good percentage.

This is our hostess, Debbie (on the left).  She and some friends prepared a delicious Mexican dinner. Teresa Heaton Gubler has her back to the camera, and Carylee Hawkins Heideman is in the light green blouse.

This is Howard (on the left), one of Ken's lifelong friends.  And Dean Woodbury, who actually left Hurricane in 7th grade, but came from Richfield for this reunion.  I sat by him at dinner.  He is a wonderful person.

There was lots of visiting and chatting and getting reacquainted.

A delicious dinner was served.

It really was a fun evening, other than being hot- 106 in the shade. I have always enjoyed Ken's class reunions.  They are a great bunch of people.
