Quick Trip to Logan For Hannah's Birthday

We were scheduled to drive up to Logan on Saturday, May 11th- the same day Joan and Tom were scheduled to leave St. George.  Hannah, Shonna and Blake's little girl, was turning five-years-old, and her birthday party was scheduled for 5:00pm.  I just did not feel well enough to go.  So Ken went alone and I stayed home and rested and recovered.  We both had dental appointments with Blake scheduled for Monday morning.  Ken needed to get a permanent crown put on, so he needed to go.
Shonna sent pictures of the festivities, including this beautiful fruit platter.  Shonna always makes food so beautiful!  She has a gift.

It broke my heart to not be there for the celebration of this precious, little girl.

Blake always makes the birthday cakes at their house.  This year Hannah wanted a skittles rainbow cake.
They had a fun party.

I LOVE this picture of Hannah Rose!

Poor Caleb finally learned to ride his bike.  He has been very afraid of it, but conquered his fears and has been riding for several weeks.  Unfortunately he took a bad spill while Ken was there, requiring bandaging and resting for a few days.

The Camerons had family pictures taken

This is the dress we gave Hannah.

She especially loved the bow in the back.  Before we left on our trip, I talked to Hannah on the phone and asked what she would like for her birthday.  She thought for a minute and said, "Could you get me some stickers?"  Sure, anything else? "Could you make me a card and draw pictures on it?"  Precious little girl.  She got both of those things, and a few other things besides.

Shonna's best friend is Robin.  She met Robin years ago when they both first moved to Logan at a local park.  They have remained great friends since.  Robin gave Hannah a sparkly Minnie Mouse shirt for her birthday.  Fearing Lily would feel left out, she got one for her, too.  I'm not sure Lily has taken it off since.

Happy birthday, sweet Hannah Rose!  How we love you!!
