A Quick Trip to Vegas

On Thursday evening, Brian texted us to come down for Gabbi's piano recital the next night and stay over for ball games the next day.  I was feeling much better, and we decided, "Why not?"  We went down the next afternoon, stopping for ramen and sushi on the way to the piano recital.
We met up with the family at the church where the recital was being held.

Gabbi did a great job.  She is really progressing quickly on the piano and is so self-motivated to practice.

Michelle and Brian are working on their big backyard, little by little.  They just put in the concrete for a basketball court.

After we left, they got the basketball standard installed.

On Saturday morning, we went first to Jaron's basketball game, then to Gabbi's soccer game.

Jaron is very athletic

This baby has my heart.

Brian coaches Gabbi's team and does an excellent job.  When one of the boys found out this would be his last game, he just cried and cried.  He really liked Brian.

We are so grateful we live close enough to be at their ballgames . . .

And at Gabbi's piano recital.

They are such a wonderful family! I loved getting to see them last Saturday, as well as Shonna and her kids. You and Ken have such great kids!
