Recently, I was reading a story to my six-year-old granddaughter, Gabby that talked about being happy/sad. In trying to explain what that was, I told her that I was happy/sad about going on a mission: happy to go and serve my Heavenly Father, but sad to leave her and all the rest of my family. I thought her response was quite profound. She said she felt happy/sad about the apostles that died. She was happy for the three new ones, but sad the others had died. Well said, Gabby, well said.
