Halloween and Kenny's Birthday

This precious little guy- Kenneth Reed Prince- turned one year old!  We went to Vegas to celebrate.

This is the cute cake Michelle made. It wasn't just cute- it was delicious!

Heavy, heavy hang over thy poor head . . .

What do you wish with a bump on the head?

Sweet cousin Jana and family stopped by to wish Kenny a happy birthday.

Kenny loved his chocolate cake . . .

And who didn't?  It was delicious!!!

Grandpa tried to catch a little nap, but got ballooned instead.  It's hard to resist a grandpa on the floor.

In the afternoon, we carved amazing jack-o-lanterns and made the traditional Halloween soup.

I love this baby!!

So much!

That evening, we went Trick-or-Treating.  Here's Captain Hook ready to go!

And Little Peter Pan

And Wendy!

The Prince Family.

Michelle's neighborhood has become known as Halloween Street.  They really put on a party on Halloween night.  They block off the streets and nearly every house does something special. They are all decorated to the hilt.  There were several haunted houses, and several of the homes gave out very special treats, including hot dogs.

One of the homes had music and a live DJ from a local radio station.  Everyone was dancing up a storm- from little kids to old Grandmas like me.

It was so fun!

This home (people in Michelle's ward) gave out cotton candy that they made in a big caldron.  Gabby was so excited.  She told me as we were walking and she was eating it,"I've always dreamed of tasting cotton candy!"  She was so happy.

We went home after the festivities.  It was a great day with the Prince family.  Thank you!!!!
