Blake Graduates from the Ohio State University Dental School and the Camerons Move to Utah!

Ken got back to Washington DC on Friday, June 1st.  After eating dinner at Michelle and Brian's, they packed up and all drove partway to Columbus, Ohio.  Blake was graduating on Sunday, and they were moving, so there was much work to be done- packing and loading the truck. When they arrived on Saturday, they went right to work, packing, loading, and cleaning.  Oh, my, what a job with four little ones to care for in the meantime.

They will miss their Ohio home and good, good friends.  They've made so many good friends that have become like family to them.  Both of their children were born in Ohio.

The hooding ceremony on Sunday.

Blake was honored with three special awards at graduation: Two scholarships and The Service to the Community Award.    He has been faithful in serving in the Hispanic Indigent Clinic all four years he was in dental school.  In the first couple of years- before he could do dental work, he would go and translate for the older students, and the last couple of years, doing the work himself.   He was honored for that service.

After the ceremony, the treats were delicious!

Best buddies and brothers-in-law.

We are so proud of Blake. He has worked hard to achieve his goal of becoming a dentist.  Of  his entire graduating class, he's the ONLY one who is setting up his own practice.  Eveyone else is working for someone else.  He has independently studied- all during school- books on the business end of being a dentist, preparing for this day. It's a huge mountain to climb, getting it all set up.  There is SO much to it.  But he's working hard at it .  He is buying a practice in Logan, Utah.- where my roots are !  He will be opening for business on July 2nd.    So if you live in that area and need a good dentist . . . .

Congratulations, Dr. Blake Cameron, DDS

That's a lot of packing, loading and cleaning! Ken is awesome - well, I've said that before, but he really is! You must be so proud of your sons-in-law! Each one is wonderful, and so handsome! We're pulling and praying for Dr. Blake Cameron!

Congratulations Blake and Shonna! What a cute family. Good luck in Logan. Those moving pictures bring back bad memories, moving is no fun, but how exciting to have them closer!
