We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week in Wisconsin with the Mackrorys. The Camerons came from Ohio, too. We so enjoyed attending Brielle's Thanksgiving pageant at her pre-school. She goes to a Catholic school and they put on a big Thanksgiving pageant every year. She was the cutest little native American:
She knew every word of every part- not just her own. She absolutely beamed on stage. She LOVED performing.
Her support team:
For Thanksgiving, everyone had a job. The babies hung out:
Grandpa peeled the apples for his favorite apple pie
AND he washed A LOT of dishes
Blake helped with about everything and he made the delicious rolls
Jared was turkey carver and post dinner turkey cleaner upper
And Brielle and Nathan (and Grandma, Kristen and Shonna) made butter from cream. We turned on Christmas music and marched in the Butter Parade throughout the house, shaking the cream. Wa La= Butter!
The delicious results of everyone's labors
For the bounties of life and a happy family, we are truly grateful!
After dinner, we watched Toy Story 3
The week was filled with lots of special grandkid time. Grandpa doing the "Grandpa Machine" for which my Dad was famous:
"Don't catch me in the bear trap!"
Reading to kids
and playing with them. Ah, this is the life!
On Friday, we had the Turkey Bowl at the bowling alley
Everyone had such a fun time
Nice work!
Grandpa won by a hair over Jared
Grandma got to tend little ones
We also enjoyed a lot of fun adult time shopping, visiting and playing games.
On Saturday, we listened to the heartbreaking BYU game while we made a surprise for Gabbi (we wanted the Princes to feel part of things, though it was too far for them to come)
Even Blake helped with the hot gluing
That evening, we went out to dinner to celebrate Shonna's 30th birthday. Here she is on the saddle at Texas Roadhouse. She was SO SO cute! "Bang! Bang! It's my birthday!"
"YEEE! HAW!!!"
Sunrise view from Kristen and Jared's dining room window. Gorgeous!
Brielle twirling- all ready for church and Jacob's baby blessing
Ready for church
Sweet baby Jacob ready for his blessing
It was a wonderful week for which we are truly grateful!

Mom, you look so skinny! - Especially in your black and red outfit (the one you wore to Brielle's preschool performance)! I love the picture of you holding Caleb, oh and the one of Grandma Kay and Grandpa Ken looking down at sweet Jacob. Thank you for thinking of us! Are those bows? You guys are so thoughtful! I can't wait to see them! We missed you guys, but I'm glad you had fun. What a great record of the week.
