Our spring Keynote season has come to an end. It was a difficult season, but I think ended up being one of our best. The theme was "O, America" and the songs and narrations all were about our great country.

The above pictures were at our concert at the tabernacle on April 26th. Ken came to one of our assisted living performances before that and took a few pictures there:

Paul Revere's Ride- this narrative song was part of what made this season so difficult. It was over 7 minutes long. It was Longfellow's poem "The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere" set to music. It was a beast to memorize, but ended up being a moving addition to our program. Two days before our tabernacle performance, we had our spring luncheon. While there, our leader had us vote by secret ballot whether or not to include this song in our tabernacle concert. The vote was 7-6 in favor of doing it. So you can see that half really didn't want to do it. In the end, I think all were glad we did. |

It was a fun season. We now take a break until September when we will start preparing our Christmas program.
