A Surprise Visit

For spring break, the Mackrory family planned to go to the San Diego area to stay in a house by the beach for a week.  To do so, they had to drive right through St. George on Saturday, March 20th.  We are still in quarantine, so they didn't plan to stay with us.  But, as they were on the way, they texted to see if they could stop and just say hi.  Of course, of course.  I quickly jumped into action and baked some cookies. They stopped for about half an hour.  They stayed on the front lawn and we all wore masks.  It wasn't the hugs we would have liked to have, but those will come soon. (We plan to visit them in Colorado at the first of May.)

Imagine our joy when the big, white van pulled up and our beautiful grandchildren started spilling out!

The kids had a lot of fun playing on the lawn and rolling down the hill.

Audrey and her mom set the line as the shadow line of the house.  They were pretty good to not cross over, easily keeping a six-foot distance.  Even little Lisi seemed to understand.

Brielle snapped this picture of us.
