I loved this well-written and well-narrated book about that horrible
day. No planes could fly in USA air
space. Most coming from Europe were
diverted to Canadian airports, including the little town of Gander, Newfoundland.
The people of Gander and surrounding
little towns welcomed thousands of people and worked tirelessly to meet the
needs of the unexpected guests. The stories
were heartwarming and a beautiful reminder of the goodness of most people on
this earth. I highly recommend this
one. The audio version was very well
done.
