Guess Who Voted For the First Time Today?

Congratulations to one of The United States of America's newest citizens:  Kristen's husband, Jared.  In a naturalization ceremony in Madison last week, Jared was made a citizen.  He was highly motivated to do it now so that he could vote in today's election.   Wisconsin is one of those states that can go either way, so his vote may really count.   Anyway, we're very happy for Jared and their family.  Kristen said the ceremony was very moving.  They hired a babysitter to come with them so that she could  take the children out, if needed, but the kids were wonderful and no one had to go out, so they got to see their dad take the oath of allegiance.  Very cool.

Congratulations, Jared!

Congratulations Jared! I wish there were about 2 million more of you in the US. Maybe the outcome of the election would have been different.
