Hinton Family Reunion 2026- Thursday

We all arrived on Wednesday evening.  Kristen and family had a delicious meal for us of soups and homemade sourdough bread and Scotcharoos for dessert.

We were up early Thursday because we had a full day ahead.  Breakfast was delicious: eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and toast.

The Idaho Falls temple was closed, so we drove to Rexburg.  We had a devotional taught by Ken and I on the temple grounds.

Then the teenagers, Grandpa, Grandma, Brian, and Jared went into the temple to do baptisms.

Gabbi works for a neighbor pulling weeds in the summer.  She saw a few in the temple flower bed and got down and pulled them.

We then went to a beautiful park in Rexburg and had a picnic lunch.

Grandma and Grandpa then headed home to take a nap while everyone else went to Rexburg Rapids.

We then took them all out to Costa Vida for dinner.

We played fun games that evening including Cups.  It's kind of like musical chairs with cups.

We didn't get a picture, but one of my favorite parts of the whole reunion was playing 5 second rule.  We laughed til we cried.  It was SO much fun.  Most of the kids went out and played Ga Ga ball.  Jared built a pit so they could play.  Again, I didn't get a picture.  Maybe I can find one on the Internet.  Yes.  Theirs looked a lot like this:

Kristen is certified in Refit Dance.  She teaches a class every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning.  She asked her sisters to help her lead a dance on Friday morning.  Here they are practicing.

Thursday was such a fun day!!!
