250th birthday celebration of our country
We had a wonderful Keynote season. Our theme was the 250th birthday of our country. We sang many patriotic songs as well as other songs celebrating this great country.
| All of us at the tabernacle. |
| We had 15 performances over 10 days. It was pretty intense. We went to many assisted living centers and rest homes. I have pictures of the ones Ken attended, as he took the pictures. |
| Family Home Evening at The Meadows. It was a huge crowd. |
| This picture shows the beautiful banner we displayed at our performances: 250 Years of Freedom. |
| I'm glad Ken got a picture of our accompanist, Carole. She is amazing. |
| At each performance we gave out flags to wave. |
| Pam and Roger always come to our tabernacle concert. |
It was a wonderful season and helped restore feelings of patriotism in me that had been waning a bit. I now am working on the Christmas program, so I am listening to lots of Christmas song arrangements. Christmas in May!! I hope to have the songs chosen by the end of this month.
