Our mountain is Pine Valley mountain. There is a beautiful town up there. It has an old, historic church and is a respite from the heat for many in our community. We know many people who own cabins up there. Recently, the mountain caught on fire. We first heard about it when a friend, Kalynn who lives up there most of the time (and sings in Keynotes with me) texted and told us about it, asking us to pray.

| Our nephew, Bryan and his wife Noel also own a beautiful cabin up there. Noel posted this touching picture taken from their ring camera at their front door. It is the firefighters marching up their street to fight the fire. Thankfully, both their home and Kalynn's were spared. |
The fire continues to burn but has gone over the mountain. I don't think it is threatening any homes or structures now and is about 60% contained.
