Thanksgiving Week: Monday

It was so fun to have the Mackrorys here on Monday.  On the way here from Colorado, they stopped at Four Corners.  Lisi's Kindergarten teacher had told her about Four Corners and that you could stand in four states at once.  That made Lisi really want to do that.

When they got there, they found out that it cost $8 per person to go in.  It is on the Indian reservation and I guess they can charge what they want.  So they parked their huge van outside the gate and let those who really wanted to go in do it.  Lisi was the only one who really cared.  So Lisi and Kristen went in.  I'm sure the ticket agent has seen that before!  That's pretty expensive when you have a big family.

But Lisi was thrilled to be there!

We had fun doing a puzzle several times and playing games.

They love going up on the Red Hill and hiking and exploring and playing Hide and Seek.

Slot Canyon

This is all within 15 minutes of our home.

They also found a cave up there to explore.

Bats!  Eek!

As they were hiking, Nathan left the trail to see what that was on the ground.  He picked it up.  "What does it say?"  Stay on the trail.  Oops.

The other thing they love to do is go and feed the ducks on the golf course near our home.

I can't remember what else we did that day.  But it was a fun day!
