Modern Fiction Audiobook
This is Book #3 in the Lucy Barton series. Are you looking for an action thriller? This is isn’t it. This book is all about relationships and understanding people. It is very slow and is mostly the narrator’s thoughts. It is a very interesting style. At times I thought, “I’m not enjoying this much,” but then I would think about how profound some of those thoughts were. It is Lucy’s thoughts about her ex-husband, William and their relationship and a pilgrimage they take together exploring William’s heritage and past.
