A Few years ago we listened to this audiobook and enjoyed it. The movie was well-done, too. It is a sweet story. We watched it on Netflix.

Remarkably Bright Creatures
I read the book and loved it, But, (and I've only said this one other time in my life) the movie is even better than the book. That's partly because there is less foul language in the movie, but mostly because Sally Field was amazing. We loved it. It is on Netflix.

The Thursday Murder Club
I had read the book and wanted to watch the movie on Netflix. It was well done. I actually think I liked it better than the book because the characters were so well-cast.

Unbroken Path to Redemption
If you read the book Unbroken, you will want to watch this movie. It begins after the end of the book. Even if you haven't read it (like me), this is an excellent movie. The theme is healing through Jesus Christ. It is really well done. We watched it on Amazon Prime.

Castle
We finally made it through all the episodes and seasons of Castle. We really enjoyed this series on Roku. It was so nice to know what we were watching in the evenings and not have to hunt for something. We finished a couple of weeks ago and haven't watched anything since. We need to figure out what to watch next. Any suggestions?

Rebecca, the 2020 movie
It's been a while since we watched a movie. We have watched a series for months and months. But I wanted to watch this movie as I had just finished reading the book. It was good, but, as is nearly always the case, not as good as the book. I felt like they overdramatized many scenes in the book and added unnecessary drama. The book is classic: understated and moving. But I'm glad I watched this movie remake.

Man on the Inside
We enjoyed watching this series on Netflix. It stars Ted Danson and has a great group of characters. It is set in a retirement community. We hope it will continue!

A Marriage Made in Heaven
If you could go back and live one week of your life, what week would you choose? We loved this movie on Prime Video.

The Miracle Club
This was quite slow moving, but had a good message. It's all about friendship, healing, and forgiveness.

Monk
We finally finished! We have been watching this series for months. We finished Young Sheldon in March and have been watching Monk since. Monk is OCD, quirky, and kind of rude. But he is also lovable. The cast is so good. I love that it is clean. We like watching a series so we don't have to decide what to watch; it's already decided. We watched it on Netflix. Now what do we watch? Any suggestions?

Escape from Germany
We rarely go to a movie in the theater, but recently attended this one. It is intense from start to finish. It also is very faith-promoting. We highly recommend this one!

Young Sheldon
Every once in a while, a cast of characters just clicks together, creating magic (Friends, Cheers, etc.) That is the case with this series. Combine that with excellent writing, and you have a hit. We really enjoyed watching this series on Netflix. There will be another season, but it isn't on Netflix yet.
The Vow
This was actually a re -watch for us. A young married couple are in an accident and she suffers amnesia, not remembering who he was. It is based on a true story. It is a good movie.

The Chosen
Some friends of ours- not members of our church, but faithful Christians- invited us to go out to dinner and then to the showing of Season 4 (episodes 1-4) of The Chosen with them. This movie was powerful and moving. It was a privilege to go with our friends and for us to share our testimonies of Jesus Christ. We are looking forward to attending the rest of the episodes in this season.

Nyad
This movie is based on the true story of Diana Nyad, the first person to swim from Cuba to Florida Keys. And she did it when she was 63 years old. The acting is excellent. But there are some rough parts. We watched it on Netflix.
