The book of this same title is one of my all-time favorite non-fiction books. I had to watch the movie. As is nearly always true, the movie is not as good as the book, but it is well-done. I wondered how anyone could capture the craziness of the father, but Woody Harrelson did a good job. My advice is to read the book first, then watch the movie. We watched it on Netflix DVD.
