I wasn't sure I was going to recommend this one. Not because it is objectional in any way. But because it was a bit slow. But the more we thought about it and discussed it, it really is a quietly powerful movie. It is based on a true story of a war veteran that simply cannot live in society, yet has a daughter that he loves and wants to care for. It addresses the very difficult problem of PTSD. I have ordered the book it is based on as I want to read the real account. We watched it on Netflix DVD.
