How the Penguins Saved Veronica by Hazel PriorMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
This story is told by Vernonica (a miserable, old lady) and Patrick (a messed up young man- Veronica’s grandson). As you read you watch both of these main characters grow and change and bond with one another. I loved it as a story of understanding (there are reasons people act the way they do,) and story of change and redemption. I recommend this one. 4+stars from me.
