Ken and I were in charge of Thursday breakfast: scrambled eggs, lil' smokies, pancakes, and orange juice. |
The afternoon was down time- everyone doing what they wanted. It was such a fun, relaxing afternoon.
Girl time. I gave each of the girls a little treasure that was my grandma's, my mom's, or mine. I had them each choose. |
This swing was a huge draw for kids of all ages. They had so much fun all week. |
Over the week, Ken cut up a lot of pineapple! And every bit got eaten. We are a pineapple eating family! |
We (not me!) also ate a lot of watermelon. Brian is the official watermelon cutter upper as he has a fancy and efficient way of doing it. |
The kids loved playing with the play dough and all of Brian and Michelle's fun apparatus to use with it. Me- I'm not a play dough fan. It makes such a mess! |
Brian and Michelle were in charge of Thursday dinner. It was a feast: barbecued chicken, corn on the cob, green salad, watermelon, roasted potatoes, sautéed zucchini, and homemade ice cream for dessert. |
This little girl! |
Our yummy, healthy dinner. |
These two were adorable together. I heard their little voices and went in William's room to find them reading stories to each other. |
Our grandkids love books and reading was a big activity for the littles on Thursday. |
This is a fun picture comparing Brielle's skin color to Nathan's. These two came out of the same womb? |
More Pinchy, Fisty, Flatty, Cutty, Cow. |

More Play dough fun |
Michelle preparing the salad |
These kids had SO much fun making up a cops and fugitives game and playing it all afternoon. They are so creative. |

Dad would be happy to see Michelle cutting "redishes" for your salad :)
Ha! Yes, he would. I love radishes and always think of him when I eat them.
