Paper Wife by Laila Ibrahim
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I admit I was a bit afraid to read this story as many of the stories I read about Chinese culture are too much for me. I was most pleasantly surprised. This was a page-turner right from the beginning and a very intriguing, and powerful story of family and love. To me, the theme of the book was the worth of a soul. It really made me think. Thanks to my sister for the recommendation.
