Non- Fiction Physical book
Years ago, our family read the Great Brain series together, written by this same author. They are great family books! This book is the beginning of the story. Fitzgerald recounts the history of the silver mining town in our county, Silver Reef. It was called Silverlode then. He tells how his father came there and courted and married a Mormon girl from the nearby Mormon settlement. It is such a great story. He then gives their family’s history, ending with his father’s death. I loved this book. It was informative and so entertaining. I add Mama to my ever-growing list of literary heroes. She is such a great example in so many ways. 5 stars.
