Historical Fiction Physical book
This is the story of a couple from Brooklyn, New York in 1927 and their first year of marriage. The old-fashioned writing style helps the reader immerse in that time period and setting. Once I got used to the setting and style I enjoyed it. It is a bit shocking at first. This is the same author that wrote A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.
