Shark's Teeth and Brotherly Love

Mackrorys spent the Christmas break in Florida on the beach.  They had a wonderful time.  An activity they discovered that was lots of fun was hunting for fossilized shark's teeth.

This is the biggest one they found. (glad they didn't meet that shark!)

Let me tell this story in Kristen's words:  "We spent all morning yesterday sifting sand and shells in the water to find about 20 shark's teeth.  It was such a fun treasure hunt together.  Lisi hadn't found one so when I took Sam and Lisi back to the condo for a snack, Sam snuck a shark tooth from the bag he had gathered in Venice (the boys had gone to another beach the day before to find shark's teeth.)  Then he offered to help Lisi look for shark teeth on the beach.  He slipped his amongst the shells for her to find.  She was absolutely thrilled!!  He didn't tell a soul about his part in it.  I just put the pieces together and got a wink from his adorable eight-year-old face when I asked him."

Sweet brotherly love.
